At this time, I’ve been working my inner muscles intensely. Challenges… Ones that I could not have altered even if….
In other words, “God grant me the serenity…”
Through this turn of events, I’ve been busy – wallpapering/placing new moldings in all the focal accent walls and areas in my house!
In spite of it, I am grateful to see my artwork bring a creative spark to my brother’s Air B&B condo! This unexpected event at the start of the month was affirming.
I value once again the human need that we have for art. Like the discoveries of our human creative pursuits throughout time, iconic in my mind are the cave paintings at Lascaux.
So here’s to beginnings! And Staying on the horse!
Painting: My first work for 2018 – in this case mostly worked out in my mind’s eye.
It will no doubt be enhanced as I look more closely – with a cool magnification gizmo – at the geometry of nautilus fossils and the artistry of nature.
My ex-husband and son made a special search through a local market fossil/agate aficionado for these two beauties!
